Over two intensive days of live fire firearms training, you’ll build rock-solid pistol fundamentals AND earn a Stop the Bleed® certification. The Gunfighter Essentials course series content will allow participants to learn fundamental firearms handling skills, shooting from a holster, and an introduction to tactical trauma care.

Duration: 14 hours (2 days)

Skill Level: Novice-Intermediate (safe firearms handling and familiarity with your handgun are the only pre-requisites for attendance)

Cursory Kit Requirements:

  • Modern semi-auto handgun & 3+ magazines

  • Gun belt with mag pouches and holster (NO SERPA)

  • 600 rounds minimum (800 recommended)

  • Eye/Hearing Protection

  • Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK), - mounted on your kit and/or fanny pack.

  • Weather-appropriate range attire

Training Points:

  • Tactical trauma care basics (Stop The Bleed)

  • Grip, stance & the “workspace”

  • Trigger prep & recoil control

  • Drawing from the holster

  • Emergency & tactical reloads

  • Clearing common malfunctions under stress

  • Single & multi target engagements
