Due to arbitrary firearms prohibitions that have been enacted outside the scope of democratic process, our carbine courses will be unavailable for the foreseeable future.

Once legal platforms are more commonly in ownership, or legislation changes, we’ll have Carbine Essentials back up and running.

Over two intensive days of live fire firearms training, you’ll build rock-solid carbine fundamentals AND earn a Stop the Bleed® certification. The Gunfighter Essentials course series is our level 1 tactical firearms training course series and allows participants to learn fundamental firearms handling skills, develop their reloads and malfunction clearance for use in tactical and competitive settings, and gain an introduction to tactical trauma care.

Duration: 14 hours (2 full days) - compare at $375+ for 6 hours with other training companies!

Skill Level: Novice-Intermediate (safe firearms handling and familiarity with your handgun are the only pre-requisites for attendance)

Round Count: 600rds minimum

Cursory Kit Requirements:

  • Any legal rifle/carbine platform (bolt action scout rifle & lever action OK)

  • 4+ magazines (6+ if using 5rd mags)

  • 2 point sling

  • Gun belt with mag pouches

  • Plate Carrier/Chest Rig (recommended)

  • 600 rounds minimum (800 recommended)

  • Eye/Hearing Protection

  • Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK), - mounted on your kit and/or fanny pack.

  • Weather-appropriate range attire

  • Gunfighter stance & the “workspace”

  • Sling manipulation

  • Compressed ready & point Shooting

  • Emergency & tactical reloads

  • Clearing common malfunctions under stress
