Small Teams Essentials

from $100.00

Small Teams Essentials is a two day course introducing shooters to operating in a live fire team environment. The course content will allow participants to learn how to shoot in direct coordination and immediate proximity to their teammates. Course content will progress at the pace of the participants with a mix of dry and live fire throughout the day.

Pre-Requisites: Prior dynamic “tactical” training experience at the intermediate level is required (such as our Gunfighter Dynamics or equivalent). This is not an introductory level course, and all participants will be expected to safely and competently handle their firearms during dynamic movements.

Course fees may include a small fee (~$10) paid to the host club on your behalf. Certain host venues may have additional daily insurance fees for non-members, and will be noted in the joining instructions prior to the course date.

Duration: 14 hours (2 days) - compare at $350+ for 7 hours with other training companies!

Cursory Kit Requirements:
-Any currently legal firearms platform(s) which you have used in your prior training. Shooters may adopt any combination of platforms as a 2-gun set up, or any single platform if that is all they currently can use.
-Semi-automatic carbine/rifle (with a known zero)*
-Pump or semi-auto shotgun**
-Modern handgun & holster (NO SERPA or universal fabric)
-First & Second Line Kit (Belt & PC/Chest Rig)
-4-5+ Carbine/Rifle & 3+ Pistol mags
-Minimum 600 rounds each rifle/handgun, or 250rds shotgun. (more recommended if only bringing a single platform)
-Eye/Hearing Protection
-Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK)

*Semi-Automatic centrefire or rimfire rifles preferred.
**If your prior training history has not included a shotgun course and you will be bringing a shotgun as your primary firearm, we highly recommend signing up for our Gunfighter Essentials Shotgun course, or seeking any other fundamental level shotgun course prior to attending.
