CQB Live Fire Essentials
CQB Essentials is a two day advanced course teaching shooters to operating in a live fire CQB environment.
CQB is not an entry level shooting skill, and requires shooters to be extremely competent in their firearms handling, and know how to shoot in a dynamic setting with other shooters immediately around them.
Prerequisites include prior formal training courses covering the following curriculum:
-Two or more “fundamentals” level courses, 20+hrs of total fundamentals course time.
-Dynamic “tactical” shooting course covering use of cover, barricades, shooting on the move
-Team shooting course covering bounding, break contact, peels, communication, and shooting in immediate vicinity of 1-2 other shooters
You will be required to submit a course bio outlining these prior courses, and submit a shooting drills qualification video for evaluation. Your performance today is equally as important as the training you have done in the past.
We believe the standards of a course’s prerequisite reflects the quality of potential training that can be produced from that training. This ensures everyone is at the same level, and is actually ready to train the skills being taught at this advanced level of shooting.
We are not an adventure tourism training experience company. This is real firearms training, for professional shooters and civilian enthusiasts alike to develop real, usable skills.
If you do not yet meet the pre-req but are interested in CQB Live Fire training, please contact us for a detailed training plan to get you prepared for upcoming live fire opportunities.
Course fees may include a small fee (~$10) paid to the host club on your behalf. Certain host venues may have additional daily insurance fees for non-members, and will be noted in the joining instructions prior to the course date.
