Only Carry What You Should
It's tempting to add on every medical device possible to your medical kit. After all, more supplies and devices increases your odds of survival, right? Maybe not.
Carrying extra items like airway adjuncts (nasopharyngeal airway), and decompression needle kits may lead to poor judgement in an emergency where untrained responders aren't qualified on proper usage.
General rule of thumb: don't carry any medical devices you aren't properly trained to use, unless directed by a professional responder who IS trained on those medical devices, and will be the responder in case of an emergency (i.e. your team/company medic).
