Nightfighter Intro
Nightfighter Intro is a introductory shoot in low light and near no-light conditions. We will review fundamentals, operation of weapon lights, target identification, and just generally experience what it's like to shoot in the dark.
White light and Night Vision users are both welcome on this course.
Nightfighter Intro is a direct entry course, no prior training is required to attend this course. Basic fundamentals of handling your firearms, and firearms safety are the only pre-requisites.

Course fees may include a small fee (~$10) paid to the host club on your behalf. Certain host venues may have additional daily insurance fees for non-members, and will be noted in the joining instructions prior to the course date.
Training Points:
-Fundamentals & daytime safety check
-Types of IR laser zero’s & zero confirmations on paper
-White light & LAM manipulations
-Passive aiming
-Pistol shooting with white light & NODs
-Single & multi-target engagements
-NODs to white light transitions
-Photonic Barrier
Cursory Kit Requirements:
-First & Second Line Kit (Belt & PC/Chest Rig)
-Modern handgun and holster (NO SERPA)
-Semi-Auto Carbine/Rifle, with a known zero’d optic (.22LR & PCC OK)
-Weapon Mounted White Light(s) (Highly recommended for NODs shooters as well)
-IR LAM (IR Laser & Illuminator, and/or Vampire IR light) (for NODs shooters)
-Handheld flashlight and/or headlamp w/ red light
-IR/VIS Strobe (highly recommended)
-3+ Handgun Mags
-3+ Carbine/Rifle Mags
-Minimum 400 rounds each, rifle/handgun
-Eye/Hearing Protection
-Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK) & CoTCCC Approved Tourniquet
If you are deficient in kit, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We may be able to provide loaner kit, or accommodate without.
If you do not own a handgun that's OK, carbine only shooters may still participate.
