Lightfighter Intro
Lightfighter Intro is a contiguous two and a half day (42hr) introduction to fieldcraft, with a focus on selection and usage of kit, in a more relaxed and administrative style learning environment. Future courses will build off this foundation, and be performed in a more tactical setting.
The course content will allow participants to learn about equipment, basic fieldcraft, and establish a strong foundation on how to live out of a ruck for a short duration. It is a perfect opportunity for anyone looking to get started or improve their fundamental skills for backpacking, backwoods hunting, and tactical camping.
MILITARY MEMBERS: If you are an active member of the military, and wish to come practice your trade, you’re invited to attend the course free of charge. We recognize that the training time made available, particularly to the Reserves, is extremely limited, and typically focuses on checking off boxes rather than honing these essential fieldcraft skills.
